The Alliance for Digital Equity, housed under the umbrella of Baystate Health, proudly joins the eighth annual Digital Inclusion Week, from October 7-11, 2024, a national week of action to raise awareness and amplify the importance of digital equity. This year’s theme, “Stronger Together: Mobilizing Towards Sustainability,” aligns perfectly with the Alliance’s mission to bring digital access and skills to everyone in western Massachusetts and throughout the Commonwealth. 

The Alliance recently partnered with Northampton Open Media (NOM) to document success stories of residents who received digital literacy training, and now are digital navigators themselves who are helping others and the region bridge the digital divide. This video, titled “Digital Navigators Bridge the Divide” premiered this week at the Massachusetts Broadband Institute’s (MBI) first annual statewide Digital Equity and Inclusion Awards held in Worcester.
